I may not be reinventing the outdoor branding wheel here, but there's value in digging into trends. There are a lot of brands that end up not needing too much in the way of elements, as they are selling....shoes or candles or something like that. Outdoor gear companies on the other hand sell such a large range of items and sizes that package design alone could have doubled the size of this project. I had to make the cutoff somewhere I guess. This was a really fun project to tweak and iterate upon, and I see the appeal of this design aesthetic quite clearly now.
